This page might help you decide whether Pastor should know about this. It’s an initiative to get more prayer support for the mission effort, to get the gospel to the 10,000 tribes, People Groups, who have not heard the good news.

I’ve been a missionary or in mission work for over thirty years. I want to send a very brief weekly email to as many pastors worldwide as are willing to receive them. Each weekly email gives the pastor information about one People Group. The idea is to encourage the pastor to pray for that People, and to lead his congregation in prayer for that People on Sunday morning.

Every pastor who agrees, gets first, a brief email summarizing the profound need of every People who do not know how to connect with their Creator, how to receive Jesus into their hearts and lives.

I just need the email address the pastor wants me to use for these brief weekly emails. I’d like to have the pastor’s name, but that’s not necessary.

I suggest you give the pastor a printout of either this page you are reading now, or the web-page called “Pastor’s Page.”  See the button at the top of this page you are now reading.  The Pastor's Page is long, but it has material the pastor might use for a sermon on the subject: Why we want to pray for ethnic groups we’ve never heard of.

Next to worship, reaching the Unreached Peoples is considered the top priority of the Church. These Peoples comprise a total of 2.4 billion persons, 40% of the world’s population. After 2000 years, they are still isolated from the gospel.

Worldwide prayer is powerful. It's a radical attempt to solve a radical problem, a tragedy that defies description.  Worldwide prayer will make the difference. God is waiting for us to ask for his help.  

I only started in June, 2007.  So far, I’m emailing fewer than twenty pastors.
