On this page [below] are the contents of the next few emails with bullet-points about Unreached Peoples for the next one or more Sundays. They are the ones featured by Global Prayer Digest for prayer on those same Sundays.
As you lead your congregation in prayer, you and they will be joining 70,000 others praying for the same Unreached People.
HOW CAN I PRAY? Suggestions.
- Lord, give this Unreached People, and in fact all 10,000 Unreached Peoples, dreams and visions. Reveal to them how you provided for their entrance into your wonder kingdom. Invite them to turn themselves over to you completely and receive eternal life.
- Lord we acknowledge, you have already done your part. You have provided the sacrifice of Jesus on the cross as the more-than-enough payment for the sin of the world. We confess we have not made the salvation of the Unreached our second highest priority, second only to worshiping you. After 2000 years of heroic missionary effort, we who are not missionaries admit we have been too self-absorbed to turn our whole-hearted attention and compassion toward the Unreached. Now we change our hearts. We will pray with passion that you might work your wonders, intervening in this tragic situation, and bringing the Unreached into your sheepfold.
- Lord touch the hearts of pastors throughout the world. Cause them to grieve with us over the 2.4 billion persons who belong to the Unreached Peoples who have little or no gospel penetration. Cause our pastors to lead their congregations in prayer for the UPs that they might be saved. And bless them with the joy of knowing they are in the center of your will in doing this.
- Note: You might pray against specific situations that prevent a particular UP from being open to the gospel.
- You might pray the Lord of the harvest that he send forth more laborers.
- You might pray for more evangelistic tools to be created so the believers or the missionaries will be better equipped to do the job more effectively.
- The information in the weekly emails might give you clues about how to pray.
- God wants to hear from YOU. Your own heart is precious to him. Pray what's on your heart! Jesus gave us a great guide for this kind of prayer in his instruction to the twelve. (Mat.6:9,10)

#77 Pastor, please lead your congregation in prayer this Sunday, November 16, 2008 for this Unreached People
[ Pastor , a suggestion: ask the Lord to visit the 100,000 members of Unreached People groups who die every day without knowing Jesus. Ask him to give them dreams or visions revealing their Savior to them. Ask him to offer them the choice of salvation in his name.

HAZARA PEOPLE in Iran and Afghanistan
[ 70,000 other believers are praying today (Sunday) for them. ]
> Hazaras number 4 million. Of every 10,000, only 3 are Christian. The rest are Muslim.
> Hazaras are outcasts both in Iran and in Afghanistan.
> In Afghanistan, their homeland, they face persecution because they are Shi'ite, and because they look like Mongols, who generations ago comquered that country.
> Many fled to Iran, which is Shi'ite, but were resented for their Mongol appearance.
> Jobs and food are scarce in Afghanistan, but education opportunities are improving.
> Oppressive conditions make Hazaras more open to new ideas, even to the gospel.
> Hazaras love poetry, storytelling and music.
> PRAY that Christian agencies will help Hazaras and share the gospel with them.
> PRAY that Jesus will visit the people with dreams and visions.
> PRAY that pastors worldwide will lead their congregations in prayer for Unreached Peoples.

[Pastor, a suggestion: An Unreached People resists “foreign” ideas, including especially “religious” ideas. They are bound in a tradition of works. But prayer is powerful because God’s power is infinite!

The KYRGYZ PEOPLE of Kyrgyzstan

> Kyrgyzstan is one of the poorest states of the former Soviet Union.
> Many Kyrgyz live in the mountains breeding sheep, goats, yaks, horses and camels.
> They are nomads, traveling as extended families, using portable felt tents.
> The women work both in the home and in the fields.
> Children work in dangerous, unhealthy coal mines.
> Most Kyrgyz claim to be Muslim, but use shamans to contact evil spirits.
> They love music, dance and stories. They have the Jesus film in their language.
> PRAY God will send anointed missionaries and cause them to be effective.
> PRAY God will use the Jesus film to soften their hearts toward Jesus.
> BIND evil spirits that commonly affect the Kyrgyz.

[Pastor, Your congregation is exceptional. Very few congregations are setting their hearts on this heart concern of the Most High, the salvation of the 10,000 Unreached Peoples. Please remind them: They will meet ones they have prayed for in heaven!

The TURKMEN of Turkmenistan.

> Long ago, Arabs forced conversions. The majority are Sunni Muslim but mosques are poorly attended. Anti-Christian scrutiny increased in 1997.

> Turkmen only marry within their tribes. Arranged marriages are common.
> Tribal and family loyalty is high.
