Your Options

May God be gracious to us and bless us and make his face shine upon us,
That your ways may be known on earth, your salvation among all nations (People groups). Ps.67:1,2.

You have your orders from the Lord, your list of priorities.

The Holy Spirit gave you those, drawing on what you knew at the time you received them. Why is Reaching the Unreached Peoples through prayer among those priorities? Because the Holy Spirit did not choose to sovereignly reveal the situation of the Unreached Peoples to you at that time.

There are several ways you might join me in this prayer initiative, at no cost, to encourage pastors to lead their congregations in prayer on Sunday mornings:

If you're a pastor, send me an email asking me to send you my weekly emails, explained on the "Home Page. Use my bullet points to motivate your people to pray from their hearts, along with you. Check out the valuable advantages to you and to your flock.
If you have a website, link my site to yours. I will link yours to this site, on my "Links page," if you request that.
If you have a website, add a page and promote congregational prayer yourself. Copy anything you want from my site. Change it so it becomes totally yours. Or create your own from scratch.
Create a website for the same purpose. Use my material or create your own.
If you do either of the last two, above, I can do the research for you and send you a copy of my emails, or you can wait til they appear on this site ("Current Emails" page) and you can copy and paste them to your own emails.
If you have a directory of email addresses of pastors, email it to me and I will add them to my list. Every email has a link to "unsubscribe," in only two clicks, literally.

You can reach your own sphere of influence, spreading the idea of pastors leading their congregations in prayer for the Unreached Peoples. 2000 years is a long time to wait for the gospel. 100,000 members of Unreached tribes dying daily without Jesus is tragic beyond any other catastrophe experienced by mankind!

I believe prayer by a significant number of believers will make the difference. God has demonstrated his desire to involve his children in every wonderful thing he does. It is not only our obligation to participate with him, it is our joy, our delight, our fulfillment. We were made for a purpose. God himself and his glory is that purpose.

When the Holy Spirit alerted Daniel to the fact that it was time for God to send his people back to Jerusalem, he prayed that it might begin. Daniel realized God delighted to involve his lovers in the execution of his plans.

Was it William Carey who made a convention speech about reaching the Unreached Peoples only to be followed by a well-intentioned leader who spoke next and said, in essence, "My dear young man, if God wants the heathen to be saved he will do it himself."

The rebuttal would of course be, "God has already done it! And he has assigned us the task of bringing it to the attention of the heathen."

Our gallant missionaries are doing a great job. The salvation of the Unreached is the desire of God, and the responsibility of all of us, the Church. Thank God! The people in the pews are looking for a ministry. Prayer is an effective one, a vital one!

Prayer does not have to be long, but it must be sincere!
